I enjoy good competition. I started racing BMX in the year 1969 in Southern Ca. After that I went to moto cross at the age of 12 To 16 years old. I raced off road cars for 3 years, way to expensive. I then started surfing for 20 plus years. Then I got hooked on stand up jet skis in 1986. I won a Gold medal in 1990 at Lake Havasu. In 1998 I did my first cross country race at Hollister Hills. 2009 was my best year. I was 2nd in the A over 50 class and 23rd overall. What I like about Cross country racing is you get alot more racing for the buck, and you don’t have to change in and out of your gear or hang out for the next moto. The people at the cross country races are so much fun and put such a good helpful vibe out there. 2010 I will be pick and choose cross country races (I don’t like dust.). I will also be enjoying Mountain biking and Kite surfing.
