Cody Webb has been preparing for since last year – when he took the title – and there was no doubt Webb was planning to win again. “I had a target on my back going into this year’s King of the Motos after nabbing the win last year. I have been physically preparing for this race as much as possible and it paid off huge for me! The course had some very difficult parts this year and my bike handled perfectly all day and I had a blast.

“King of Motos goal is to be the toughest extreme enduro type race in the world and this years event didn’t disappoint. The course for this year was shortened and made much tougher. I was the first one through in the morning qualifiers, giving me first pick on where to start in the afternoon. I got the best start imaginable and was already out of sight after the first canyon. From there I just rode a smart and collective race and got my second straight King of Motos win. It was a perfect day on my Beta 300 and couldn’t have been any better”.

Cody of course went on to Win this event.  Congratulations Cody!

Shout out to Travis Coy for his 9th Place Finish as that was impressive given the difficulty of the course and all the riders Trav had to beat.

Cheers,

Kane
